WAHMa-Rama: My Daily Thoughts (Week 24)

October 10, 2016 – Sleepover
Last night, one of my spiritual sisters went to sleepover the house for the first time. I’m happy to learn about her life now. We’ve been friends for quite some time now and just like any usual friends, we also had misunderstandings in the past. I’m happy that we stayed good friends after everything that happened.

I knew Agnes when she was still very young. Who would’ve known we’d still be really good friends, right? In life, you really don’t know who you’ll be friends with for a long time and who would only be there for a little while. She was still in High School when I first knew her. Now she’s a college graduate and working for more than a year. I’m happy for what she’s become and that no matter how busy she is, she still finds time to serve God.

Agnes is Norbie Joy’s older sister, the lady who took Nate’s, ZD’s and Yael’s birthday photos. We talked about our plan to have a seminar in the church for our worship leaders. We already have everything laid out, we just need create a slideshow and plan when to conduct this.

October 11, 2016 – Mother’s birthday and their wedding anniversary
Today’s a special day because today, my mother celebrates her 52nd birthday. Not only that, it’s also hers and tatays 29th wedding anniversary. We made a short video greeting yesterday for them. Earlier today, our relatives and churchmates went to our home sing songs for her and have devotion with them.

Thank God for the wonderful innovation and technology, we got to join the devotion through FB chat. Everyone gave their wishes and prayers and prayed together for them. Our cousin was able to download the video clip I prepared for them and they were teary-eyed while watching it! πŸ˜€ Mission accomplished! Here’s the video, by the way. πŸ™‚

In the video cover was me with our nanay and tatay having fun at the beach πŸ™‚

I’m so thankful for our parents. Even though we were poor, we were raised up well by them. My prayer is that God will continue to bless them and give them good health and long  life.

October 12, 2016 – Dane & I’s wedding monthsary + Sick Nate πŸ™
Today’s the 12th and so is Dane and I’s wedding monthsary. Even if there’s nothing extraordinary to do, we just want to still remember the important dates of our relationships. This includes the 12th of every month (wedding monthsary), the 17th of every month (our original monthsary).

Nate, on the other hand, is sick with cough and colds. πŸ™ I hope that he gets well very soon. I’m giving him more vitamin C for his immunity. What’s difficult about him being sick is, when he gets colds, a day or two after, expect him to have cough. Cough and colds always go together for Nate. πŸ™

October 13, 2016 –  Nate Getting Better & 1.5 hrs videocall
Nate is still sick but is getting better. He started having colds during nanay’s birthday on October 11th and is now having cough and colds together. Last night was difficult for him, he couldn’t sleep well and was having a hard time breathing. Today though, he seem to look better, I hope his health continues to improve.

I’m happy we got to talk to Dane. Nate is happy every time he gets to talk to his papa. Sometimes he tries to impress him and those scenes really give a happy smile on my face! ♥ I love my boys!

October 14, 2016 –  SM San Mateo Sale
Praise God! Nate is a lot better now. And for that I’m so happy, we got to go for the first day of the SM 3-day sale! We got invited to experience the SM 3-day sale in SM San Mateo and today’s the first day!

It was my very first time to experience the super sale of SM San Mateo, and although I’m not surprised, I was overwhelmed with the savings that you could get because of the discounts! Not only that, on the first day, for the 1st 2-hours, you get an additional 10% discount on top of the discounted prices that you have when you use your SM Advantage Card (SMAC)! That was really awesome! I loved what I bought! I’ll make another post of that next week! πŸ™‚

  1. wow! a new bag for that amount?!? it must have been one crazy sale. i also enjoy sleepovers. more than the bonding, i am always after the new learnings i will bring home. it is refreshing to know how others do their thing – bedtime activities or how they cook adobo or fold their clothes –
and how you will improve yours.

  2. Those are good looking bags! Belated happy birthday to your mom and hope she had a great day! It's such a cute thing for married couple to celebrate monthsaries. It's not the usual thing I see and read about. I hope Nate will feel better soon!

  3. I can't resist a good sale. Those bags and shoes look amazing! Happy belated monthversary and I'm happy to hear that nate is getting better:)

  4. Aww. I'm so glad Nate's doing fine now. Meanwhile, my little man had a flu just yesterday pero nawala na din sana tuluy-tuloy na. It's really hard when our little kulits are sick. Ang daming viruses kasi ngayon. Actually the flu started with my husband, passed on to me and unfortunately, my sob caught the virus, too. Boost vitamin C na lang para next time mas matibay ang immune system. πŸ™‚

  5. Wow mura ng secosana sis ha for the pair Php 276.00 lang I agree one of the hardest part of being a mom is to see your kid sick lalo na si age ni Nate. Buti na lang gumaling din sis before mag sale. Happy monthsarry din and happy birthday to your mom
