WAHMa-Rama: My Daily Thoughts (Week 22)

“Worry Less, Smile More! :)”

September 12, 2016 – Wedding Monthsary + Brown out + Rain
Today marks 45 months of marriage. God is awesome and great, He helps us everyday, specially in staying true and faithful to each other even with the distance that we have right now.

Earlier today, I was worried that the electricity might not come back on time for my work. Thankfully, it did at around 8 PM, just in time before I get to work at 9PM. The rain today was surprisingly heavy and unusual, we were guessing it was a low pressure? That rain caused power outage in the area. Thank God it was back in time.

September 13, 2016 – Choir Competition
We traveled to CCP complex today to support our church pastor who’s part of a choir as they join the Civil Service Commission National Chorale Competition. They represented our city – Tagum City and they are back to defend their title. Of course, we’re already here in Metro Manila so we made sure we could attend!

We were so happy they won. Not bragging but they sound really beautifully and after I heard them sing, I already had the feeling that they would win the championship. What’s more amazing is that this is just their 2nd time to attend this competition – they’re champions since the time they joined, how cool is that!

Congratulations once to our very own Tagum City Chamber Chorale, such an awesome performance!

September 14, 2016 – Wedding
I didn’t expect this to be a very busy week but yes, today we went to join a wedding in Eastwood. Nate was the ring bearer (for the first time), and my sister was the maid of honor. I was so mad, we didn’t make it on time, we were stuck in traffic. But in the end, I still became happy because of Nate, he was so cute during pictorial and he looks so happy so I stopped my childish acts! haha. Just look at how he nailed their photo opp after the wedding! lol!

September 15, 2016 – WANTED: Rest!
The past 2 days were such busy days! I didn’t have enough rest at all, and when this happens, pimples appear on my face. So by the time I get pimples, I know already that I don’t have enough sleep. Today, we’re able to sleep and get enough rest, thankfully! We better get enough rest now, because by Saturday, it’ll be another busy day! Sigh! Thank you Lord! πŸ™‚

September 16, 2016 – FriYAY! πŸ™‚
Friday’s here, Friday’s here, Friday’s here!!! Woot woot! πŸ™‚ Thank you Lord! It’s funny because, just when you think you’re already too tired of all the week’s activities, you get energized come Friday! lol!

Today, we were back with our bible study with the teens in the neighborhood. Last week, our pastor didn’t make it because he had to attend an emergency meeting.

I’m happy the teens are still back, our bible study seem to be a part of their week already, and for that, I am thankful! I hope that the word of God remains in their hearts ’til they grow up. I believe that strong foundation and belief in God can go far. I keep on praying that these teens will be able to glorify God in their lives as they continue to learn His words.

Have an awesome weekend! God bless us all! πŸ™‚

  1. Awesome week. Kahit busy. Nate was super cute as a ring bearer! And I love how you got to spend time with people even though your busy. At the end of the day, it's relationships that matter most

  2. Worry less and smile more! The kind of disposition that i always carry whenever im too burned out with so many things. Sometimes i just let go and really ignore. I go out and eat a lot or i sleep the whole day. Kase pag ipipilit ko nmn na gawin at yakapin lahat i can never be productive enough so chill chill lang!

  3. Your week was truly a busy one. That explains the chatroom being soooo quiet na silent pa. But seriously, going out once in a while refreshes the soul and thought tired, gives us the needed energy for the coming week. I am so happy you were able to use your week as fruitful as it should be.

  4. It was a good week still and getting stuck in traffic was only a slight bump in an otherwise perfect week. Oh, there was the matter of power failure too. But here's the deal. The week that was had been a milestone week as your kiddo Nate became a ring bearer and from the way you wrote it, looks like you want more to come! LOL!

  5. That was a week! You've done so many things in a week. From work to choir competition to weddings, just wow. How do you do it? Traffic is so inevitable in the metro and that's a reason why I don't like going out that much. Anyway, what's your work? Do you work from home? Γ°ΕΈΛœΖ’

  6. getting stuck in traffic to attend a special occasion will certainly cause wrinkles (ops!) I mean, I understand how mad you were at that time. Your week is hectic, yet, I can see how meaningful it was. Have a blast week ahead.

  7. Wow that has been a super busy week. Happy wedding anniversary πŸ™‚ and Aww Nate looks adorable as ring bearer. I love weddings what can I say I am a hopeless romantic
