Jam-packed Weekend: Yael’s 1st Birthday and More!

Wow, this weekend was a suuuper duper busy one for me! And because of that, I now have a big pimple on my face! haha! Ganito ako pag napupuyat at sobra sa pagod. Nonetheless, our weekend was so fun and productive! After work, I only slept for about 3 hours and headed to the party.

Here’s what we did over the weekend.

1. Yael’s 1st birthday!!!
You know Yael, right? The adorable and cutie son of Berlin from Momi Berlin.com? Yes? No? Ok, let me post a photo! haha.

That boy! That cutie patootie!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Yes, he turned 1 already and we were there to celebrate his birthday! It was super fun, and most of all, I got to meet more mommy bloggers, one of the wonderful perks of blogging! Thanks for having us sis Berlin, hanggang sa susunod! Muah! Here are some of our photos.

Thanks for our giveaways!

2. My Sitel Visit
Salamat at sa One Cafe ang venue ng birthday ni Yael, nabisita ko rin ang Sitel after so many years! The last time I stepped on the Sitel ground was in 2011 when I was doing my clearance. Ngaun lang uli, at may bitbit na akong anak. Haha. Wala na pala dun ung mini stop? Asan na kaya? At may malaking building na sa tabi, akala ko nag expand na’ng Sitel. Hehe.

So happy kahit sa labas lang kami, this place has so much meaning to me, I worked here for 1 yr and 4 months. Dito ako unang namulat sa mundo ng call center, telephone support at customer service, dito ako unang nanginig at naiyak dahil sa mura ng mga customers (lol), gayunpaman, masaya ako at salamat sa magagandang alaala. Hehe.

If not for Sitel, I won’t be where I am now. Thanks to all my trainers and managers back then. More power to Sitel OJV!

3. Tres Marias Dinner!!!
After the birthday and my Sitel visit, we went to Kamuning to visit Full Belly. It’s my 2nd here and it was their first. Perfect since I still have that 500 pesos off coupon, so we used it here and got 500 pesos less. They still serve yummy dishes! I wish we could order more! hehe. But my budget is low. haha. Btw, meet my sisterettes! Beb, second-born and Ashiel the youngest. We still had a great time. We went home tired.

4. Bible Study
We attended the bible study in the neighborhood together with the pastor invited to speak for the bible study, it was great, they learned new song (I said they because we already knew the song) and we worshiped and prayed together. I had to leave immediately after the service because we had to sleep already as it’s worship service the following day.

5. Church Day
I’ve been saying this, we’re on a quest to coming to church early. And yesterday, we weren’t late, wooot wooot! I hope we continue to come on time. Worship and fellowship is already a part of our lives.

On our way to church. ♥

6. Women’s Officer’s Meeting
I’m part of the newly elected officers and we had a meeting in Pedro Gil yesterday afternoon after worship service. I was with Melisa. We’ve been planning on how to revive the organization and do visitations on the churches to be able to fellowship with other moms from other churches.

7. CLAG Meeting
After our organization meeting, we went and attended the CLAG meeting. It’s a meeting for our church workers that’s done regularly (every 1st Sunday of the month). I got to meet the different workers from other churches again and I learned more about the updates from different churches and ministry.

8. Tres Marias Devotion
For the past 2 nights, lagi ako nakakatulog sa biyahe pauwi sa sobrang pagod. Pareho kami ni Nate. haha. But I’m glad he woke up pagdating sa bahay. We got to eat properly before sleeping. And I had a short devotion with my sisters before calling it a night.

It was definitely a busy weekend! How did your weekend go? ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. What a fun filled weekend for you. That is what we do at night, sleep. So whether we sleep because we needed to and/or due to being too tired, it is better to be tired. Means merong ginagawa. Between tired and too tired, mas ok na ang too tired, means sagad sagaran sa activities and time is maximized. Your last weekend was amazing because what had kept you busy were the two things that balances out the rest of the week, social and spiritual. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Very busy week indeed ๐Ÿ™‚ I agree with you mommy, fellowship and worship should be part of our lives and everything follows. Looks like you have fun and it is all worth your time ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Indeed, that was a jam-packed weekend. A happy birthday to Momi Berlin's son. Of the mommies you've shown in the photo, I've only seen mommy Joy in person. I hope I get to meet you too in person. Anyway, my weekend was full too. I had a Young Adults Ministry meeting, a business training, a lifegroup (Bible study) meeting, coffee date and a reunion. At least, we're happy to be busy ๐Ÿ™‚ -Me-An Clemente of http://yogoandcream.com

  4. Glad to read about another church servant blogger! Mommy Joy and I go way back, as in way back in blogging, LOL! Her twins and my unico hijo are almost the same age. Meanwhile, I think I met Mommy Berlin in one event. I'm hoping to see you soon in one of the many mommy events!

  5. Busy weekend but the photos reveal you had fun so it's okay ๐Ÿ™‚ one thing I also love about blogging is meeting new people who eventually become my friends.

  6. Can't believed everything happened in just a weekend. Great it's well-spent for you. Spending time with family is very important, and also communing with nature. Hope to have more productive weekends such as these.
