Wednesday Wreview: Belo Baby Hair & Body Wash VS Belo Baby Bar Soap

Moms like us want nothing but best for our children. This is why some parents prefer all-natural and 100% safe for their kids, from the food they eat to the products they use since there are so many harmful chemicals nowadays that can affect not only our kids health.

Earlier this year, Belo has introduced its new product line: the Belo Baby. Belo Baby came up with skin care products, from lotion, to baby soaps that are 100% all natural and has 0% harmful chemicals. I am one of the few who won the giveaway and try most of the products for free.

Belo Baby Hair & Body Wash
Belo Baby Hair & Body Wash is a gentle shampoo and body wash that is 100% natural with just the perfect amount of lather for babies and a delicate, powdery scent. It is Rich in Shea butter, and sweet almond oil to nourish and condition delicate skin.

It is FREE of SLS, sulfates, parebens, phthalates, dyes, sodium chloride formaldehyde, MEA, DEA, TEA & most common allergens. Hypoallergenic. Dermatologiest-tested. Perfect for all skin types.

Belo Baby Bar Soap
Belo Baby is a gentle bar soap for your baby and the whole family that is 100% natural with a delicate, powdery scent. It is Rich in cocoa butter, shea butter, and sweet almond oil to nourish and condition delicate skin.

Also FREE of SLS, sulfates, sodium tallowate, tetrasodium etidronate, EDTA, parabens, phthalates, DEA, triclosan, synthetic preservatives, paraffin petrochemicals and common allergens. Hypoallergenic. Dermatologiest-tested, and perfect for all skin types.

Since they’re both Belo Baby Products, I think that it’s best to compare them. So here’s my verdict:

Belo Baby Hair & Body Wash
Belo Baby Bar Soap
PHP 219.75 (200 ml)
PHP 79.75 (100 g)
This product’s scent is undoubtedly good and it lasts long. It’s mild scent makes it perfect for babies, toddlers and kids alike
The scent is “ok” for me. It is good but it’s not as good as the body wash. I like the scent of the body wash better, but it doesn’t mean I don’t like its scent. It still smells good for me.
This is gentle on Nate’s skin and eyes, it doesn’t irritate when a portion of the body wash goes into his eyes.
The soap is more foamy than the body wash so I was more careful not to put this on Nate’s eyes.
Cleansing Properties
I feel like this product is better if it’s more foamy. However, I also heard that some products which are all-natural don’t have that much bubble either. That I’m not so sure. But the reason why it was consumed fast was because I wasn’t satisfied with the bubbles, I kept adding more. I felt like it’s not cleaning properly unless I see more foam/bubbles.
The soap is a lot more foamy and bubbly than the body wash. I like that with just a few applications, I can already spread the soap all over my sons body.
This is a bit costly for me, but considering the fact that it’s all natural, it’s worth it. The only problem is it’s easily consumed because it’s not that bubbly, as I previously mentioned.
It easily gets softened when wet, so just be careful not to leave it wet or soak it with water.
Would I buy it?
Yes, this works for me. So, I am considering buying this in the market.
If I’m to choose between this and the body wash, I’d choose to buy the soap, it’s way cheaper but almost has the same ingredients and cleansing properties as the body wash. And this lasts longer even with daily use.

Here’s a list of my Belo Baby Product Reviews:

  1. Awwww, the cute baby products… I mean, look at those bottles.. so darn eye catching… But, don't you think that the hair and body wash will be more convinient than the soap? Since it's going to be less harsh than tha bar and also, serves 2 body part's cleansing:)

  2. Belo has been coming out with more products. Hope you could also include the labels, as some readers may want to see the ingredients (including other ingredients) as more and more people are now becoming aware of the importance of checking the labels.

  3. It's great that the focus on 100% all natural and 0% harmful chemicals.I would prefer the wash because of the better scent. I don't know this brand, so I've never used it. Bt it sounds very nice for kids.

  4. My cousing has been using the Belo Baby Face and Body Lotion for her babies and she likes it a lot. Once, she even requested me to just buy this lotion as gift for one of her babies. Haha. Babies have sensitive skin so natural products are always better. Great revie by the way. 🙂

  5. It sure is. You know what, since y'all mentioned, I might as well go with the wash. I just didn't like that it's not bubbly, that was it, other than that, I have no complaint. 🙂

  6. I'm surprised Belo has expanded its market to a range of baby products. I'm only familiar with its whitening lotions and haven't been up to date. 🙂 It's good that these baby products are safe and 100% naturals! If I ever have a baby that's also one of the things I'd be looking for, be it baby wash or soap.

  7. I still haven't used any Belo products so I don't really know if they're really good. It's great to know though that they make baby products chemical free and 100% natural. You said that the downside in the body wash is that it's not that bubbly. Do you use sponge for it? Maybe you know this already that body washes are normally not applied directly to the skin 🙂 – Me-An of http://yogoandcream.com

  8. I saw this during a launching in a mommy event last time. It looks good and smells good too. I agree that it's eye catching especially for kids. I'd love to recommend this product to moms 🙂

  9. Wow. IT really pays to know what products are you using for your kids. Since their skin are most sensitive during this stage, it is best to know which products to use. 🙂 I can only imagine when I become a mom na din. I would be totally metikuloso din. HAHA!
