WAHM Personal Diaries

WAHMa-Rama: My Daily Thoughts (Week 1)

Hello! I was planning on doing something for my blog to make it more personal. As some of you may have noticed, I very seldom post on my blog this time, one of the reasons is that we don’t have a helper anymore, so I have to enjoy and spend more time with Nate :), which is of course, the most rewarding job of all.

On the other hand, I don’t want my blog to die. So I am planning on ways to organize my blog and plan for the post frequency. I need to manage my time to be able to do all these. But for now, I want to be able to share my daily thoughts, compile them and post them altogether at the end of the week. WAHMa-Rama: some of my thoughts this week as a WAHM who’s into DRAMA, lol! So let’s get started! ๐Ÿ™‚

Manic Monday!!! Wow, day off’s so fast! Pwede bang mag off pa uli? huhu! Back to work tonight! Today, my sister is on her way to our home in Tagum City, we’re fortunate to be able to avail of the promo in Cebu Pacific last January, she got the ticket for just Php 1,500 back and forth! Thank you Lord for the blessing of a cheaper airfare, now we can have the chance to go home! ๐Ÿ™‚ I was planning on going with her but I changed my mind as I needed to be able to save money for now. Also, Nate and I just recently went home last December. Maybe next time, we’ll go home again to be with the family.

Wow! It’s a long day today! I just got off work, Monday’s the busiest, I was bombarded with so many sup calls! Whew! Thank God we survived the entire shift! Now, I don’t need to think about it anymore. Today’s my church mate’s birthday, Agnes, same date of birth with my father so I won’t forget these 2 people every April 12th. I pray for good health always for them and that God will continue to use them in each of their ministries.

I miss tatay, we grew up knowing him as a strict father. I got so many “palo” before. But when we were growing up already, we realized he’s a loving and amazing father who would do everything (as in magbanat ng buto) for his family. I pray that God will always be with him at work. I’m sure he’d love for all of us to be together today but I’m happy that even if I’m not there, my sister’s able to celebrate his birthday in Tagum. Thank you Lord for giving Agnes and my tatay another year to enjoy life!

Another OT today, but shorter hour compared yesterday. ♥ Just finished work and I’m so excited to sleep already! lol! Nate was good yesterday, we slept together so I was not “puyat” going to work last night. I work at night, been doing it for more than 6 years (wow! can’t believe that’s how long I’ve been working as a CSR!).

Yesterday, I got to talk to my tatay and greet him on his birthday. I was so happy to see the photos posted by my sister. Pretty obvious that he cried in surprise. He wasn’t really expecting her to be there! lol!

Nate slept before 12 mn last night, that’s an accomplishment for us already because usually, he’d sleep around 1am or past 12mn. I was happy that for the past 2 nights, he slept at around 12. And I hope little by little he’ll learn to sleep early, para di naman mapuyat ang lola nya. Due to the experience we had with our 2 helpers, we’ve come up to a decision of not getting one anymore. So for now, I live with my in-laws and they’re the ones helping me with Nate. It’s not easy to change Nate’s body clock, he’s used to sleeping around midnight, but I hope we can change it without forcing his body (like forcing to wake him up early in the morning). So far, things are doing good and I hope it continues to stay that way.

We just got home from SM, we bought paints so we could repaint the house. This isn’t our home, we stay here since the owner are currently in Laos. They’re our ninong and ninang and they decided to have us stay in their home, which is such a blessing for us.

We’ve always been planning to repaint the house and I’m glad I was finally able to buy paint. But, I have to be honest, it cost me more than 5,000 php. If you know me personally, you’ll know that I’m simple and I’m kuripot. I’m a bit sad by the price but I’m still happy na sa wakas, matatapos na din to next week. lol! This paint made me realize how expensive it is to have a house! Wow, I don’t even know if Dane and I could ever afford one, but for sure now, di namin afford talaga ang magkaroon ng bahay dito sa Metro. Maybe when we go to the province and live there and build a little house of our own, then we can afford to have our own home. haha.

Woot wooot! Off na naman! Thank you Lord! I have so many things planned today, but before that, I need to get some sleep first. Last night was a challenging night at work because Nate was suddenly throwing up. ๐Ÿ™ We didn’t know what happened but I was starting to worry because he’d always ask for water, and then after a few minutes of drinking water, he’d throw up again. I think it could be gas in his tummy, we’re using electric fan everyday (because of the heat), that must be why. I just hope he gets well soon.

Later today, we’ll go to church to practice the songs for our Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS), it’s a yearly activity that we do in the church to reach out to little children and teach them about Jesus. I was one of the teachers before. Now that I’m working already, I am not available to teach anymore but I can help in some little things that I can. I hope all goes well, I have to sleep for now. Thank you Lord for today!
