Wow! I can’t believe it’s the end of April now! Parang kailan lang kaka-new year lang. It seems like a blink of an eye, but yeah, the 4th month of the year is coming to an end. April for me is by far the happiest and most amazing month. This month will always be in my heart. And here are the reasons why:
1. Baguio Trip
I was back in Baguio but this time with the entire family and churchmates to attend the Luzon Grace Youth Fellowship. We were able to visit a few places during and after the fellowship. I was overjoyed to be away from the summer heat and be with my family in the cool breeze in Baguio.
Nate’s very first hair cut went very well and he was so cooperative but I couldn’t forget how much hair we got after that and how everyone reacted on his completely new image. lol!
3. A new opportunity
This week, we got a new opportunity to teach the kids in our neighborhood. I’m not sure if I have mentioned before that I am a Sunday School teacher since I was in High School but I stopped teaching since 2009. I slowly went back to teaching in 2013 and am now involving myself to our church’s Children’s ministry again. The past few days, we’ve welcomed the kids in the backyard unintentionally and we thought of teaching them bible stories. They liked it and went back the other day for another story with me. I’d like to continue this opportunity and start having regular classes with them. I hope they will grow in numbers as the past few years, we already had good news classes here in Batasan Hills but was paused for quite a long time. We’d like to resume that ministry with the kids.
These, I guess are the 3 great events that happened to me last month. There are too many little events to mention but aside from this, we are very very busy for Nate’s upcoming birthday and dedication on May 5th and I hope all goes well and according to plan. I hope that the kids will enjoy it because it’s for them. We’re doing a DIY football event so wish me luck! 😀
