Nate just turned 7 months! It seems like it was just yesterday that we were on a cab going to the hospital. Now he’s turned into a heavy guy, so cute in his curls! I like how sweet he is to us but so funny how he screams also when he’s uncomfortable. Lol!
At this time, I noticed that he’s getting more and more mobile everyday. He now obviously starts to show frustration when he couldn’t do what he wanted to do. Of course, the seemingly unending eating everything he grasps.
Physically, can roll over as fast as he can, in any sides and directions. He can sit on a high chair and a grocery cart without support but of course, we’d still have to keep an eye on him.
We now call him “mama’s boy” as he starts to cry when he sees me go somewhere without him. He is so sweet to me and just the thought of it puts a smile on my face! ahh, I can’t believe that being a mother gives you so much happiness and tiredness at the same time.
His teeth still didn’t show and we are patiently waiting for his first tooth to come out. His main source of nutrition is still my milk plus his secondary foods and vitamins prescribed by his pediatrician.
So far, it has been a craaazy roller coaster ride with my boys but everything is worth it!
People often ask me, “What’s the difference between couplehood and babyhood?” In a word? Moisture. Everything in my life is now more moist. Between your spittle, your diapers, your spit-up and drool, you got your baby food, your wipes, your formula, your leaky bottles, sweaty baby backs, and numerous other untraceable source–all creating an every present moistness in my life, which heretofore was mainly dry.
